A sneaker collection deserves better than a pile by the closet. The trick is to split it in two: a few hero pairs on display, and everything else stored where you can still see it. Here's how to build the room around that.

1. Float your grail pair

The Levitating Sneaker Display with RGB & Remote holds one shoe in silent magnetic levitation and spins it 360°, in a 13.78 in tall case lit in 16 colors. It takes shoes from 200 to 650 g, so check your pair's weight first.

2. Or go for the acrylic version

The Acrylic Levitating Sneaker Stand uses electromagnetic levitation with silent fans that rotate the shoe, plus 16 remote-controlled RGB colors, in an 11.8 in acrylic case. It holds 300 to 550 g.

3. Build a wall of clear boxes

For everything that isn't on a pedestal, clear boxes keep pairs dust-free and visible. The XL Clear Sneaker Boxes fit up to US size 12, with magnetic drop fronts and ventilation holes. For smaller sizes, the Clear Stackable Shoe Boxes are 13.1 x 9 x 5.7 in with magnetic doors, sized for men's US 9 and women's US 10. Stack them in a grid and the wall becomes the display.

4. Put the theme on the floor

A sneaker rug says it without a word. The Sneaker Rug is 30" x 20" with plush microfiber and a non-slip backing. The Handmade Sneaker Rug is tufted by hand, so each one is one of a kind.

5. Finish the walls

The Hypebeast Sneaker Poster Set is printed in high resolution on heavyweight archival paper and is easy to frame. Hang the set in a tight grid above the bed or the box wall.

How to put it together

  • Choose one to three hero pairs for display; rotate them every few weeks.
  • Keep the box wall away from direct sun so colors don't fade.
  • Repeat one color from your favorite pair in the rug or the RGB light.
